Opening Statment using Distorted Frame Effect

In the last trial we completed we were asked to create a single slide opening statement presentation. I was handed a piece of paper with the words Privileges, Promises, Choices, Decisions, and Trust on it. I knew they were referencing the plaintiff in the lawsuit, so I asked for a copy of his video deposition.
Knowing that the whole point of this presentation was to display the simplicity of the case, while still getting our key points across, I had to go against what I typically design. That means there cannot be any shining lights or blasting bombs, it just needed to be simple.
I decided to use the Distorted Frame Effect on the plaintiffs screen grab from his video deposition. And paired with that would be simple, bold and bright text, but distinguished by light for each point. They came in by remote click and each point was discussed for 5-7 minutes each. I think it got the point across, if ever so slightly how simple this case really was.
